This Industry Needs Me is not a boast. It is what it sounds like when an artist stops asking whether he belongs, and starts behaving as though he does.
The project is about arriving: at a sound, at a self, at a place in a music industry that rarely makes room until you take it. It moves through identity and ambition, love and life, doubt and the stubborn belief that outlasts it.
It is also, unmistakably, Cameroonian. Not as decoration, but as the ground the whole thing stands on: an independent artist stepping fully into his voice, his identity, and his place in the wider music landscape.
